Coocooroo Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last Revised: 20 September, 2025
Effective Date: 20 September, 2025
Our Privacy Policy ("Policy") outlines how Coocooroo App("Coocooroo," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses your personal data when you access and use our website at coocooroo.io or any other Coocooroo tool, application, or service (collectively, the "Service"). We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to ensure you understand how your personal data is handled. We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Revised" date and through a notification on the Service, via email, or other means. By continuing to use our Services after any changes are posted, you agree to the updated Policy.
What Information Does This Policy Cover?
This Policy covers how we handle personally identifiable information ("Personal Data") we gather when you use our Services. Personal Data is information that can specifically identify you, such as your name, username, or email address. It does not include anonymous or aggregated data from which individual identities have been removed. This Policy does not restrict our collection or use of anonymous or aggregated information.
What Information Do We Collect?
Information You Provide to Us:
We collect and store information you knowingly provide, including your tasks, lists, boards, and teams. If you use our Sales Powerpack, we may also collect contacts and company information.
When you create an account, we ask for your consent to connect your Google account using Google's OAuth authentication method. This grants us access to your Google account, including your email, contacts, and calendar. From this, we access and store a subset of your data ("Google User Data") to provide our Services:
- Your name
- Email address
- Google OAuth security tokens
We do not collect or store your credit card details. We use Stripe, a PCI Level 1 service provider, for all billing and payment processing.
We may send you promotional emails or communications about your use of the Services. You can opt out of these communications at any time by sending an email to privacy@coocooroo.io or by using the unsubscribe link in the email.
Information Collected Automatically:
When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain information, such as your IP address, operating system, browser type, and your activity on the Service. This may include logistical information about how you use various features, as well as the number, frequency, and duration of your sessions.
We also use cookies—small data files placed on your hard drive—to recognize your browser or device and understand how our Services are being used. Cookies help us improve the Service and your user experience. If we link cookies to any Personal Data, we will treat that information as Personal Data. You can adjust your browser settings to prevent or limit cookie acceptance, but this may affect your ability to use some Service features. We may also use Web beacons, which are small, invisible images used to collect information and monitor user activity.
Do Not Track Policy:
Our Services do not currently support "Do Not Track" (DNT) requests. This means we may collect information about your online activity both while you are using and after you leave our Services.
We use third-party analytics services from Google to understand how you use our Services. We also use Stripe for payment processing.
How Coocooroo Uses Your Personal Data
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- To identify and verify you with both Coocooroo and Google.
- To personalize your experience and better respond to your needs.
- To improve our Services based on the information and feedback we receive.
- To provide effective customer support.
Note: We do not use your Google Workspace (or Gmail) data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models. We will never share your personal data except under the circumstances described in this Policy.
Does Coocooroo Share Your Personal Data?
We share Personal Data with our vendors, third-party service providers, and agents who perform tasks on our behalf. You can find a list of these "Sub Processors" below.
We will not knowingly share the personal data we collect from you with third parties unless:
- You give us your consent.
- The data is in an aggregated or anonymized form that does not directly identify you.
- We believe it is necessary to comply with legal requirements, respond to lawful requests (such as subpoenas), or protect the rights, property, or safety of Coocooroo, our users, or the public.
- It is necessary to enforce this Policy, or other agreements.
- It occurs in connection with a merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition.
Note: The data we collect via Gmail is subject to additional restrictions. We will only use this data to provide and improve the Services. We will not use this data for advertising purposes.
What Steps Are Taken to Protect Your Data?
The security and privacy of your information are important to us. We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no security measures are completely perfect or impenetrable.
What Choices Do You Have Regarding Your Data?
You can choose not to submit personally identifiable information through the Service, though this may prevent us from providing certain services to you. You can update or correct your account information at any time by logging into your account or by contacting us at privacy@coocooroo.io.
You can also request that all your data be permanently deleted (or anonymized if deletion is not possible) by contacting us at privacy@coocooroo.io or logging a support ticket.
If you are in the European Union (EU), you may have additional privacy rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please review the GDPR page for more information.

To provide our Services, we use third-party data processors ("Sub Processors") who may have access to your data. They are obligated to only use this data to perform tasks on our behalf.
Our Sub Processors and their purposes are as follows:
- Stripe, Inc Billing/Payment Services USA
